Networks Shifting Shows - Time to get a Dual-Tuner TiVo

TV Networks Shift Times, Run Longer Shows

Just another reason to be on DirecTV and have TiVo.

Speaking of DirecTV, I guess I don't realize how much I like the service.  To be honest, I really didn't care if I had satellite or cable when I got TiVo almost three years ago so long as I could get the dual-tuner TiVo.  Prior to that I hadn't had anything but rabbit ears for 7+ years because I didn't see the reason in spending the money because I couldn't be in front of the TV when something was on.

We were at a friends house (no TiVo and regular cable) and I was trying to find a show for the kiddos to watch.  So I asked if they had a guide or info screen to see what's currently on and what channel I was on.  I ended up looking at the channel lineup guide (hardcopy) and tuned to the TV Guide channel and waited and waited to get what I needed.

I figure digital cable and other satellites have the info bar and channel guide on-demand but I just hadn't realized how much I use it or at least expect it to be there.

I'm glad I wasn't there when you were thumbing through the TV Guide... Smile
