So TiVo was in talks with Comcast to be their "DVR" just as they were for
DirecTV...but then they walked away from the deal. What am I going to
do in 2007 when DirecTV stops supporting TiVo? Comcast cable is a rip-off
($62.40 vs. $44.99) and TiVo is the only DVR with the technology that let's me
organize and time-shift my TV watching unless DirecTV's new one does similar
functions (which I doubt). I guess it will be back to rabbit ears
since I'm not going to pay for TV I can't watch.
